Pallets by TNT

Posted on May 27, 2010 in Featured articles, Project News | 0 comments

Today we had the fantastic news that TNT have been kind enough to offer us the loan of some pallets to use when dismantling our aircraft. These will be used underneath the wings to support the airframe as parts are removed. TNT have a major depot in one of the hangars at Durham Tees Valley Airport, so it’s great to have a local team helping us out. They also have an office in Darlington and many more around the country. Members of the Save The Trident team visited Belfast International on Thursday 20 May to strip useful parts from Trident 2E G-AVFE, which is owned by the airport fire service there. They have a variety of types of containers, with many different specifications. They also offer...

The Swan Inn is located opposite Agnew Park, with views over Loch Lomond. It is also a popular pub and restaurant. Please consider it when in the area, or when travelling on the ferry from Stranraer to Belfast. Check out their website at...
