TNT to deliver rudder from Belfast

We’ve been searching for a while for a way to get the rudder and wing tips rescued from Trident 2E G-AVFE at Belfast over to England. We now have a solution! Our Trident G-ARPO has been without its rudder for a number of years, and its wing tips were both damaged over the years. It will be the only aircraft of its type preserved in one piece anywhere in the world. As well as being a museum exhibit open to the public, it will also be used to educate local children. Our next milestone is to remove...

Spacewise sponsorship continues

Spacewise has offered to continue its free loan of a container at the North East Aircraft Museum for our parts store indefinitely. The company specialises in storage containers of all sizes for sale or hire, and came to the rescue when we needed a place to put the parts rescued from Trident 2E G-AVFE at Belfast last year. The container is perfect for us to keep these parts, and others related to the project, safe and secure until needed. We’re very grateful to Spacewise for this sponsorship, which gives us great flexibility. Please give them a try if you need any containers –...
