More seats covered and exterior prepared

We had a few days working on G-ARPO this week, first of all preparing the exterior for painting after washing the fuselage and then applying the Alochrom kindly donated by LAS Aerospace Ltd.

We then set about covering seats in the forward cabin with the new material. These seats were made possible by sponsorships by a number of companies. Don’t they look great?

In the pictures you can see the seats that have not yet been covered. You could do something about this by sending £50, which covers the cost of the material on one seat and helps us get closer to opening up the aircraft to the public! Click here to find out how to donate.

Finally, we made a start on clearing the rear cabin ready for work to begin on painting, carpeting and adding the wall panels. We will also add a display case to this area, which team member Roy is keen to start work on.
