200 pilot logs reached!

Only two months ago we reported that we had reached 175 former Trident pilots who flew our aircraft.

Now, we’ve hit the major milestone of 200 pilots who have sent in details from their logbooks showing the flights they operated  on G-ARPO.

As we reported previously, this really helps us to put together a picture of the life of our aircraft before it retired, counting up the hours it flew and marveling at all of the destinations it flew to every day in its 18 year career.

If you flew G-ARPO, or know someone who did, please get in touch and share your logs! You can view the logbook details so far at the top of the page under Flight Log.

    24 AUG LHR-VEN-LHR
    30 AUG LHR-PSA-LHR
    1974
    14 JUN LHR-AMS-LHR
    17 SEP GLA-LHR
    3 OCT LHR-VIE-LHR
    31 DEC LHR-GLA-LHR
    1975

I converted into Trident 3s after this and did not fly PO again.

I have details of about 50 sectors on which I acted as flight crew on PO from May 1973 until March 1982.
If you are interested in the exact dates, captains and routes please contact me with details of the best method of forwarding them.
    Best wishes,
    Geoff.
