White cheatline added and more progress made

As we race towards our grand opening goal of 11th July, we’ve been working hard at getting G-ARPO ready. This past few days progress has come on leaps and bounds, with us having completed the painting of the Northeast Airlines livery by adding the white cheatline through the windows along both sides of the fuselage. Team members had to work really hard to ensure the correct dimensions of the cheatline as it ran along the fuselage – especially around the cockpit windows, and where it narrows towards the rear. Displays almost complete and legs painted

Another great few days of work was spent on G-ARPO last weekend. With rain on Saturday, the team worked on the display area in the rear cabin. All of the information boards are now in place, and we have been working on positioning for the many bits of memorabilia, collectible items, photographs, equipment and printed material which has been acquired and donated over the course of the project.
