This week we took advantage of good weather and some time off work to sand and paint primer on the other wing, as well as the horizontal stabiliser of G-ARPO. These are now protected ahead of the winter and show that we're still making good progress on our project. Here are some pictures of the work.

This week we've completed work to sand and paint primer on one of G-ARPO's wings. The wings were recently moved behind the fuselage to make them easier for us to work on and to give visitors the complete picture of the aircraft. The Northeast Airlines colours calls for parts of the wings to be painted, which we'll be doing in due course.

Trident G-ARPO's cockpit has now come to life thanks to our realistic and authentically-dressed flight crew models which occupy the Captain, First Officer and Flight Engineer positions. Last night we received a donation which brought our 2016 funding goal to its £2,500 target! We're thrilled to reach this goal as it helps us to fund all of the great work we've been doing to prepare and restore the tails and wings of our aircraft ahead of their eventual reattachment to the aircraft. This weekend the team worked on the other side of the vertical stabiliser to sand it down and paint primer on it. The work ensures it it protected from the elements, and follows the work done on previously before we flipped the tail over.
