Lights in action!

We thought we’d show you some pictures of recent work inside G-ARPO. We’ve been adding power to the aircraft to allow us to install lighting in various places. So far we’ve managed to add lights to the toilets, certain signs, and even the forward galley. Discrete power sockets have also been installed which will help us in the future when we want to clean, or set up displays. Volunteers Needed

The Save The Trident project is currently seeking volunteers to help progress the bid to restore G-ARPO. We are seeking people who have aircraft engineering or fabrication experience who can work on the Trident as we move towards the relocation of the aircraft on the museum site, and eventually rebuilding it. Volunteers would preferably be local to the North East Land, Sea and Air Museum in Sunderland, or willing to travel there regularly at their own cost.
