Our very own Neil Lomax is presenting a talk about the Hawker Siddeley Trident at the Royal Aeronautical Society in Southend on 14th May. He’ll be looking at the history of the type, along with the work he did on restoring Trident 3B G-AWZK at Manchester, and the work-to-date on our very own Trident 1C G-ARPO at Sunderland. RAeS Talk Success

Neil Lomax’s talk at the Royal Aeronautical Society covered the Hawker Siddeley HS.121 Trident aircraft, his work on preserving G-AWZK at Manchester, and introduced the campaign to save G-ARPO. The talk was enjoyed by all, and to top it off the organisation donated money from a raffle held at the event to our project, which will go towards saving our aircraft. On Thursday 11 March, Neil Lomax (team member, and Trident expert) will be doing a talk at the Royal Aeronautical Society at the Community Learning Centre, BA Waterside. The talk will be on the Trident – From Then to Now, and will go into details about his work on G-AWZK at Manchester, and his hopes for our aircraft, G-ARPO.
