As we move forward towards the final stages of dismantling Trident 1C G-ARPO ready to move to Sunderland, our costs have increased as we have to find £300 extra for costs of scaffolding. MSD Cranes will be moving the Trident

We can now announce that MSD Cranes will be the company we use for moving our Trident, G-ARPO, from Durham Tees Valley Airport to the North East Aircraft Museum at Sunderland. The move is expected to take place in October, following a period of dismantling and preparing the aircraft to be moved. MSD have been very enthusiastic and supportive of our project, and very helpful in finding the right solution for moving something as large as this aircraft the 35 miles to Sunderland. Container help from Spacewise

Spacewise have kindly agreed to help us out with a container which we can use to store parts in until they are used on our aircraft. We will be bringing many parts back to Sunderland from Belfast, and these will need long term storage until we are ready to fit them into G-ARPO during its restoration.
