New wheels and a bit more work

We’ve been keeping up with some jobs at the museum on G-ARPO since the move. As you may have read in our earlier post, we had a pristine main landing gear leg and wheels delivered up from Northbrook College’s Shoreham Airport base to use on our aircraft. As you can see from the picture, these are immaculate. Until we use them, the leg has been set up on its frame in the museum car park, and is quite an attraction in itself! New undercarriage leg on its way

We’ve had a very kind donation of a main undercarriage leg and wheels for G-ARPO recently. This comes from Northbrook College in Sussex and the wheels are in mint condition. These will make a fantastic addition to our aircraft, and ensure it is sturdy enough to be moved at the museum. The leg and wheels are being transported up to the museum at a fantastic, discounted price by Transram Europe. Transram Europe are a crane-assisted road transport company based in West Sussex.
